TV and Spike/Buffy makes me a flaily fangirl
CASTLE/HIS DAUGHTER ARE SO MUCH LOVE!
Oh my God, I love their relationship soo much, totally my favorite thing ever about Castle (even though there are lots of other awesome things, their relationship is so epic). Their dialogue, their banter and their love is just the sweetest and funniest thing ever. Also, it reminds me a huge lot about the relationship I have with my dad. For the most time in fiction I feel that there are more Father/Son and Mother/Daughter dynamics, and I definitely connect more with my dad than my mom, so it's really nice to have such a great Father/Daughter relationship.
Also, SPIKE/BUFFY ARE SO SO SO MUCH LOVE!
These last days I've read tons of reaction posts on the comics and even though I don't have it (you can't buy them anywhere near where I live, and I don't want to order and yeah) it's like flail flail flail. I read the previews and loved them like crazy, 'cause it was my ship, in character, comfortable with each other and more than I'd ever hoped for. And from what I hear, they're even more awesome in the issue, so a big fat YAY to that. And I really want to read that letter from a Spuffy fan everyone keep talking about, and I hope someone will transcribe it, that'd be great.
I've only gotten my hands on the very first arc, The Long Way Home, though I really loved that one. The thing is, I kinda want the comics to be 'shipper neutral, at least for Buffy. I'm a die-hard Spuffy and spend a lot of time hanging in my Post-NFA Spuffy place, but I was/am afraid that if they do Spike/Buffy in the comics they will mess things up. And I don't want things to be messed up. That's why I've been a bit reluctant for Spuffy-in-comics, though if they continue this way I think I might like it (but of course, it won't, 'cause Joss won't let Buffy be happy with anyone so). As long as they don't continue with Bangel, I might give them a shot. But, I really believe Bangel are doomed after the space-frakking. While I'm on B/A, I can stand them in canon (okay, I laughed with joy and relief at Innocence during my first re-watch, 'cause I was so sick of their angst-romace-thing, and I probably will this re-watch as well), however, I can't take Post-S3 Bangel. Not in fic, or in meta, or whatever. Only if it's for a small part, and it's clear that they do not work, and that it will be Spuffy in the end. Otherwise Bangel makes me heave, as I heard someone elegantly put it.
Now, I will finish this rambly (as usual) post, with basking in the glory that is no school tomorrow and that I get to sleep in the morning. *happy sigh*
